The Italian nouns

NOUNS:

SINGULAR

PLURAL

Nouns ending in -O are masculine the plural is in -I
Most nouns ending in -A are feminine the plural is -E
Nouns ending in -E could be masculine (padr-E) or feminine (madr-E), it depend (look at the dictionary) the plural is always -I

Nouns ending in consonant or ending in -à; -é; -ò; -ù

do not change in plural!

Masculine are:
Zaino; Passaporto; Spazzolino;
Aeroporto; etc …

Feminine are:
Carta di credito; Macchina fotografica; Università and Stazione etc…
