X SETTIMANA DELLA LINGUA ITALIANA NEL MONDO

“Una lingua per amica: l’italiano, nostro e degli altri (18-24 ottobre 2010)”

Inizierà il 18 ottobre 2010 la X edizione della Settimana della Lingua italiana nel mondo, organizzata dalla Direzione Generale per la Promozione e la Cooperazione Culturale del Ministero degli Esteri, in collaborazione con l’Accademia della Crusca. Gli Istituti di Cultura, le Ambasciate e/o  i Consolati, i Lettorati universitari e le Scuole di italiano nel mondo,  hanno organizzato un ricco programma di iniziative, fra cui molti incontri con scrittori italiani e proiezioni di film legati al tema della Settimana [vedi l’articolo completo]

Tutti gli Istituti Italiani di Cultura organizzeranno alcune manifestazioni correlate. Collegatevi all’ IIC più vicino a voi e partecipate alle attività proposte.

How are you? I’m fine now.

Here in Rome is a sunny day and I’m thinking of writing a new piece of information about Italian grammar. In fact, if you are considering to come to Italy during summer holidays, you could start to learn Italian here on line. So, in summer you’ll be sure to study easier and in a relaxing way, practicing what you learn here with me and in the classroom at school, and you’ll enjoy the afternoons and the nights in Italy.

Good questions! As you know, in every-day life we usually prefer to use present tense instead of future tense, but we also use the future. I’ll tell you how!

But first I suggest you to look at the conjugation

The “X Week of Culture”

The “X Week of Culture”: March 25-31, 2008

During my favorite event in Rome and in all Italy, the “Week of Culture”, the entrance to public museums, monuments and archaeological sites will be free. But not only country’s state museums and archaeological sites, also architecture, music, painting and sculpture are for free for everyone.

If they require a reservation it may be impossible to get one at the last minute, so phone for reservation!

Ho trovato questa notizia su “The Happening City”. Mi sembra interessante per quelli di voi che cercano occasioni per incontrare degli italiani, praticare la lingua e scoprire angoli particolari di Roma.

Ciao a tutti, come va?

Le mie ultime settimane sono state piuttosto piene e caotiche. Spero che le vostre siano state più rilassate e all’insegna dell’apprendimento.

Questo post è per alcuni ex studenti che temono di perdere le abilità linguistiche raggiunte e vorrebbero sapere cosa fare perché ciò non accada. Di questo argomento ne avevo già scritto -ma solo dal punto di vista teorico- nella “pagina in italiano“, nell’articolo “Non è solo una questione di grammatica (italiana)!”. Ora cercherò di essere più concreta.

Il mio primo consiglio è sempre quello di cercare un madrelingua disposto a fare attività di “tandem” o scambio di conversazione. Suggerisco inoltre di ascoltare musica italiana, radio italiane e di vedere film (i dvd comprati in Italia hanno sempre il doppiaggio e i sottotitoli in italiano anche se non sono italiani).

Vi segnalo poi la presenza di nuovi link, adatti a chi voglia mantenere viva la conoscenza della lingua rimanendo informato su ciò che accade nel Bel Paese (l’Italia) 😉

Attenzione, sono indicati per studenti che abbiano raggiunto almeno un livello intermedio d’Italiano.

Ho linkato alcuni dei più noti quotidiani italiani online, ma soprattutto due radio in streaming.

Vi consiglio in particolar modo i programmi domenicali di Radio 24, perché sono approfondimenti culturali e generalmente non si occupano di economia o di politica, come invece spesso accade durante la settimana.

Please, do not touch the Colosseum!

The Colosseum has resisted against the centuries, but now it runs the risk to fall into ruin because of stupidity!
Vandals hidden between the tourists take pieces of marble away from Colosseum or write their names and stupid sentences on its ancient stones!
Please, save this patrimony of the world! Guard against vandalism and tell your friends to do the same. Also tell them: “don’t take such kind of souvenirs and don’t write on the Colosseum: it is a criminal action against culture and history“.

The “Colosseo” is one of the 3 prestigious monuments that – from 28th untill 30th September – will host 9 lessons given by historians (free entrance). The other two are “Campidoglio” and “Castel Sant’Angelo”.

Music and Sport in Rome: the Road race in Rome at Midnight!

Il 15 Settembre ci sarà l’ “MTV Day” l’evento per il “compleanno” dei 10 anni di MTV Italia sarà a Roma (Piazza San Giovanni) e a Milano (Piazza Duomo) simultaneamente.
L’ingresso è gratuito (Admission is free) e naturalmente sarà possibile seguirlo in streaming sul sito http://www.mtv.it/mtvday
Potrete sentire musica italiana e aiutare il vostro italiano anche se non sarete in Italia. Ci saranno Elisa; Articolo 31; Irene Grandi; Le Vibrazioni; Negramaro; Tiziano Ferro e altri. La diretta TV inizierà alle 15, per gli orari del palinsesto cliccate qui.

Ma, sempre a Roma, vicino a Piazza San Giovanni, in Via di San Gregorio (departure point) ci sarà un evento sportivo notturno: “CorriRoma 2007” sulle orme di Abebe Bikila (who won in Rome -without shoes- the Olympic marathon event in 1960).
La gara partirà a mezzanotte (at Midnight) e si terrà nella magica atmosfera della Roma notturna [= the competition will take place in the magical atmosphere of nocturnal Rome].
