Learn Italian with music

Posted by Monica Corrias on June 22, 2007

Ciao, next week I will be in Sicily (Sicilia), so I will not write this blog, but you mind to “Learn Italian” online again to improve your Italian grammar, and listen to these songs (singer’s pronunciation is clear) to improve your listening skills and your confidence in Italian language.
Mi piaci” di Alex Britti – lyrics;

Le cose che abbiamo in comune” di Daniele Silverstri – lyrics ;

Per te” di Jovanotti – lyrics

Of course, I suggest you to practice with a native speaker who is living abroad or come to Italy and study in a school because you will practice all that you have learned with native speakers.
Learn about Italian people and every aspect of Italian life, from food to music and from “calcio” (= soccer) to culture or shopping and traditions.
Many people consider Italian as one of the most musically spoken language in the world, but I am Italian, actually, I cannot listen to the Italian language sound: I can listen to your language sound but not mine! I think you are lucky.
Listen to the radio : “Radio Italia – solo musica italiana” or listen to some Italian songs; this will help you to become familiar with the sounds of Italian by singing. Do not translate, please: this will handicap your ability to learn Italian correctly.
Ciao, buono studio.
