On the river Tiber across Rome

Posted by Monica Corrias on May 21, 2007

Ciao, I went along the river on the boat yesterday.

The Tiber (= il Tevere) is a fundamental aspect of Rome and it is completely navigable.

I took the boat at “Calata Anguillara” near the “Isola tiberina” (isola = island) and I bought the daily ticket (€2,30).
But you can buy the single fare: only €1 or if you prefer the tourist cruise: €10; Or Cruise + 1 guided tour of Rome: €32; but also Cruise with candle light dinner: €43; or if you like you can take the cruise from “Ponte Marconi” (ponte = bridge) to the ancient town of Ostia: the price is €13.

I live in Rome, so I prefer the daily ticket and I can enjoy Tevere and Roma from a different point of view.

I suggest you to try this experience.

You can see the timetable here

or you can call the number 06 69 29 41 47.

Buon divertimento (= have a good time)
