Sentences with “Potere” and “Volere” - simple present

Here are some sentences for you:

Mi dispiace, non so parlare italiano I am sorry, I cannot speak Italian
Dai! Su! Come on!
Che significa? What does it means?

As “Potere” e “Volere”, also “Dovere” is a modal verb, and after these verbs we use the infinitive form. Look at “Dovere”.

    Having seen the way the verb Volere is used I would translate it as
    To want to & to like to as this will not confuse the student with the verb Piacere, The To is very important as I think it will show the difference between Piacere meaning I like e.g I like your dress, using Piacere and I like to speak Italian I want to speak Italian using Volere!
    This is by no means any criticism , just my obeservation!
    Your help to all of us is just exceptional and I appreciate it.

    I suppose when one gets so involved with helping others as you are doing! one can slip up - we who are being helped by you WOW you would go crazy had you had all of us in your classroom right?You seem such a kind person-
